As we prepare for the holiday season, we are reminded that we, at Dance Alive, are thankful for the opportunity to share the
beauty and grace of the art.
We are also thankful that we can give back to our community too:
• Dance Alive National Ballet's total industry impact is $1,649,803 – with an impact of $661,935 brought into Alachua County through touring. (Arts & Economic Prosperity Calculator)
• Dance Alive National Ballet's serves 6,533 seniors, 4,556 youth, 10,385 children in school shows – over 34,795 people 2017-2018.
• This is accomplished with an administrative staff of 3 and 16 professional artists/dancers.
• Over 2,000 tickets to performances are provided at no cost to clients of social service agencies and vets.
There is no other professional ballet company in the state that does what Dance Alive National Ballet does and no other company in the world produces the work that DANB does.
