Gratitude Month is Here

Our big event this month is our presentation "Sweat the Small Stuff: How to Harness the Power of Appreciation" which will take place at Noon, then repeat at 1 PM on Tuesday, April 16 in Ballroom C at the TVUC.
This 45-minute presentation is open to faculty, staff and students. Along with this engaging and interactive presentation, we will offer a light lunch.
No registration is required, but please feel free to sign up if you want a reminder for your calendar:
New Books@Work Group To Start in May

Get to know fellow faculty and staff through mentored book discussion with Books@Work. During the 12 week series, participants will read and discuss three different books. Make time for this lively series, a fan favorite of Wellness Participants.

THINK BIG with CWRU Wellness

Join the Wellness Program for our Think About it Thursday event, "Creating a Culture of Health and Well-being at CWRU" on April 4 from 11 AM to Noon in the TVUC Gaming Room.
This is a great opportunity for participants to share their experience interacting with the program and provide ideas on enhancements.
Drinks and a light snack will be provided. No registration is required.

Its Not Too Late to Sign up for the 30 Day Gratitude Challenge
Please  register now for the 30 Day Challenge which kicks off today.
You will receive a daily email with a "Gratitude Thought of the Day" and suggestions on how you can better appreciate those around you.

In addition, look for "Gratitude Boards" around campus all month. You are invited to express gratitude for fellow staff, faculty, friends and institutions in writing by adding your thoughts to the boards all month. This week look for the boards in Crawford Hall and the BRB lobby.
This May, Tackle Stress with Better Communication Skills

Better manage stress in your relationships at work and at home with Building Connection and Communication in the Midst of Stress. In this 8-week class, learn new and transformative ways to improve response versus reaction, diplomacy and respect, verbal and non-verbal communication, and more.

Attestation Forms are Open!

If you have completed programming in Stress Management (like Mindfulness class) or Financial Wellness or in any of the six Wellness Program Incentive categories in 2019, you are welcome to attest to completion in HCM now. A review of program requirements can be found on the Wellness Website.
Go to HCM : Main Menu → Self Service→ Benefits→ Wellness Program Participation.
