The morning session of this class, you will learn the basics of sewing on a machine—how to thread the machine, how to sew straight stitch and zigzag stitches, how to pin your fabrics, how to pivot around corners, how to create seam allowances, ways to iron and press your projects, and ripping out stitches if the time comes!

After lunch you will make the adorable Monster Zip Pouch

Quilt Retreat

March 25 - 27, 2022

Kennett Crafters Retreat House

The Lancaster Quilt show is March 23 to 26 in Lancaster, PA and what a great time to attend a quilting weekend with friends old and new. You can check in at noon on Friday and stay until Sunday at 5pm. You can add a Thursday night stay for an extra fee.

The weekend can accommodate up to 10 quilters/crafters. Each person will have her own 6 foot table with a comfy chair. Price includes sleeping accommodations and all meals.

We can accommodate a group of quilters that would like to plan a day to go to the quilt show

Pricing is as follows:

Friday - Sunday $120.00 plus $50 for all meals

(Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner, and Sunday, breakfast & lunch)

Thursday add on is an additional $25 with check in anytime after noon. Usually everyone orders out Thursday evening or bring your own.
