Centering Moment
Shared by Greg and Carla Freeman
One: We come to you, Spirit of Life and Love, and place in you:
All: our feet, our legs, our hands, our arms, our heads
and allow you to support all that we are.
One: We come to you, Spirit of Life and Love, and give to you:
All: our worries, our doubts, our hopes, our joys, our
pains, our love, and allow you to take in all that we are.
One: And as we give all that we are, we find Your place of Truth where we are all one.
All: We breathe in deeply, as we stand at the edge of Your universe in oneness.
One: And as we stand here in oneness, we give thanks to the Gentle One who has touched our soul.
All: We give thanks for Love, which created us, restored us, and links us to others.
One: We have been loved since the moment of our first waking and have been held in joy and in grief.
All: Grace us with your continuing presence that,
encouraged by your Spirit, we might work to restore
compassion to the Human family, and renew the face
of the earth.
One: Amen.
All: Amen.
Sharing Our Covenant
We covenant one with another to be that sensitive and responsive part of human society which perceives and
responds to God’s newest thrust in the midst of history. The uniqueness and greatness of every life is radically affirmed. Our task together demands a comprehensive view of life, always pointed intentionally to the future. Our life together will involve us individually and corporately in study and worship, always maintaining a proper balance between proclamation of the Word about life with the deeds which make life good. Those activities which eliminate age barriers, cut across religious dogma, reduce cultural parochialisms and engage secular people with life’s ultimate possibilities will be worthy of our best efforts.
Being that Sensitive Part of Society
Celebrations
Pastor Ken
This is our time to share the celebrations of our lives: birthdays, anniversaries, words of kindness and works of peace and justice.
