Shared by Travis Meyers by Carrie Newcomer
Opening Words

One: Who are we and what are we called to do?
All: To create a world where every person is radically affirmed and barriers between people become bridges of inclusion, justice, and spirituality.

Call to Worship
Led by Pastor Ken
One: The thought manifests as the word.
All: The word manifests as the deed.
One: So watch the thought and its ways with care.
All: We come together to have our thoughts, words, and deeds be born out of concern for all beings. Let us begin and let us sing!
Singing Our Faith ~ "All Are Welcome"
Please stand if comfortably able by Marty Haugen
1. Let us build a house where love can dwell
and all can safely live.
A place where saints and children tell
How hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
Rock of faith and vault of grace.
Here the love of Christ shall end divisions:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
All are welcome in this place.
2. Let us build a house where love is found
in water, wine and wheat.
A banquet hall on holy ground
Where peace and justice meet.
Here the love of God through Jesus is
revealed in time and space.
As we share in Christ the feast that frees us.
All are welcome, all are welcome,
All are welcome in this place.
3. Let us build a house where all are named,
their songs and visions heard.
And loved and treasured taught and claimed
As words within the Word.
Built of tears and cries and laughter,
Prayers of faith and songs of grace.
Let the house proclaim from floor to rafter:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
All are welcome in this place.
The Peace
Led by Pastor Ken

The Word About Life for Today - Romans 12:9-21
Shared by Pastor Ken
One: Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good;
All: Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.
One: Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Spirit of Life and Love.
All: Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
One: Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.
All: Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
One: Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
All: Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.
One: Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.
All: If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
One: Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave room for the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."
All: No, "if your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink; for by doing this you will heap burning coals on their heads."
One: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
