Welcome and Announcements

Singing Our Faith ~ "There is Room for All"

There is room for all

in the shadow of God’s wing;

There is room for all sheltered in God’s love.

And I rejoice and sing,

“My refuge and my rock in whom I trust.”

There is room for all. There is room for all.

Repeat

The Peace

Let us greet each other as a sign of God's peace and of our shared friendship.

Singing Our Faith ~ "Enter, Rejoice, and Come In"

Enter, rejoice, and come in.

Enter, rejoice, and come in.

Today will be a joyful day;

Enter, rejoice, and come in.

Open your ears to the song.

Open your hearts ev'ryone.

Don't be afraid of some change.

Enter, rejoice, and come in.

Opening Prayer and The Prayer of Jesus

Sung Responsively

Our Creator in heaven

Hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done, on earth as in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread,

Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those

Who trespass against us.

Save us from the time of trial,

And deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power

And the glory are yours

Now and forever. Amen

The Word About Life for Today - Matthew 14

Shared by Rev. Ken Heintzelman

And early in the morning he came walking towards them on the lake. But when the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified, saying, ‘It is a ghost!’ And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them and said, ‘Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.’ Peter answered him, ‘Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.’ He said, ‘Come.’ So Peter got out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came towards Jesus. But when he noticed the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, ‘You of little faith, why did you doubt?’ When they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshipped him,  saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’

Celebrations and Celebration Song

Led by Rev. Ken Heintzelman

This is our time to share the celebrations of our lives: birthdays,

anniversaries, words of kindness and works of peace and justice.

Celebrate your heart and your spirit,

Celebrate your life while you live it.

Even when it’s hard to do,

Celebrate the best of you.

Celebrate your dreams and your visions,

Celebrate the love you’ve been given.

Cherish all that you’ve been through,

Celebrate the best of you.

Invitation to Give

One: Hold in your heart the certainty that the spirit of life is with you always.

One: These are the times

All: We are the people.

One: All of Creation is blessed!

All: May we love all and serve all!

One: God be with you.

All: And also with you.

All: Amen!

Sending Forth Song ~ "Go! Make a Diff’rence'

Chorus:

Go make a diff’rence.

We can make a diff’rence. Go make a diff’rence in the world.

Go make a diff’rence.

We can make a diff’rence. Go make a difff’rence in the world.

We are the salt of the earth, called to let the people see the love of God for you and me.

We are the light of the world, not to be hidden but be seen.

Go make a diff’rence in the world.

Chorus

We are the hands of Christ, reaching out to those in need, the face of God for all to see.

We are the spirit of hope; we are the voice of peace.

Go make a diff’rence in the world.

Chorus
