Opening Words

Led by Pastor Ken

One: Who are we and what are we called to do?

All: We are the sensitive and responsive ones called

to create a world where every person is radically

affirmed and barriers between people become

bridges of inclusion, justice, and spirituality.

Singing Our Faith ~ Draw the Circle Wide

Chorus

Draw the circle wide. Draw it wider sƟll.

Let this be our song, no one stands alone,

standing side by side –

Draw the circle wide.

God the stillpoint of the circle, round whom all creation turns.

Nothing lost but held forever, in God’s gracious arms.

Chorus

Let our hearts touch far horizons, so encompass great and small.

Let our loving know no borders, faithful to God’s call!

Chorus

Let the dreams we dream be larger

than we’ve ever dreamed before.

Let the dream of Love be in us, open every door.

Chorus

Call to Worship

Led by Cindy Gattorna

One: Let there be joy in our coming together this day.

All: Let there be truth heard in the words we speak

and the songs we sing.

One: Let there be help and healing for our disharmony and

despair.

All: Let there be silence for the voice within us and beyond us. (Moment of Silence)

So let us celebrate the richness and diversity of life. Let us sing!

Let the dreams we dream be larger

than we’ve ever dreamed before.

Let the dream of Love be in us, open every door.

Draw the circle wide. Draw it wider sƟll.

Let this be our song, no one stands alone,

standing side by side –

Draw the circle wide.

Opening Prayer and Word About Life

Shared by Pastor Ken

‘Now therefore revere the Spirit of Life and Love, and serve the Spirit in sincerity and in faithfulness; put away the gods that your ancestors served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Source of Life and Love. Now if you are unwilling to serve the Spirit, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Spirit of Life, Love, and Truth.’

Joshua 24

Celebrations

Led by Pastor Ken

At this time, we share moments from our lives: birthdays,

anniversaries, and words of peace and justice. We celebrate

sorrows and grief as part of our comprehensive view of life.

Give voice to goodness!

Music for Thinking of You Cards

In the pew racks are cards with the title “Thinking Of You”.

Please use these cards to write a note to someone so they

know they are remembered and cared for. Put the card in

the offering plate when it comes by and the church office

will forward the cards to the person addressed in the card.

This was one of the elements of our time together that you

lifted up as important for all of us. Thank you!

Sending Forth Song ~ Companions On The Journey

by Carey Landry

Chorus

We are companions on our journey,

Breaking bread and sharing life.

In the love we bear is the hope we share

For we believe in the love of our God.

Yes, we believe in the love of our God.

1. No longer strangers to each other,

No longer strangers in God’s house,

We are blest and we are nourished,

By the love we all can share. Chorus

2. Although the journey may be rocky,

Although the way’s not always clear,

We will share God’s love a-plenty,

With all people far and near. Chorus

Sermon Reboot is OFF for today.

This is a time to talk about the message and explore together using the ORID Art Form Conversation methodology. What is ORID? It stands for Observation, Reflection, Interpretation, and Decision. You will get the hang of it.
