The Westfield School
55th Anniversary
Tasting Celebration
February 22, 2025
We are excited to announce The Westfield School’s inaugural Tasting Celebration, an exclusive event taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the beautiful Southern Bridle Farms.
For the first time, we are bringing our community together for an evening of food, drinks, and fun, featuring samples from some of our area's finest restaurants and hospitality vendors. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment from Derrek Dove & the Peacekeepers and have the opportunity to bid on unique items in our silent auction, all while mingling with Westfield parents and supporters.
We are offering first access to businesses owned by or affiliated with Westfield families to participate in this exciting event. If you or someone you know owns a restaurant, bakery, catering company, wine distributor, specialty shop, or any other food establishment, we invite you to join the Tasting Celebration as a vendor. Spots are limited to 15 vendors, and with up to 350 attendees expected, this is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your brand to a vibrant, engaged community eager to experience the best local cuisine.
Tickets will go live for purchase on Friday, October 25th, on the school's website events tab.
If you would like to contribute to the silent auction, please see the link below for more information. Your in-kind donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law, and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Be a part of this special evening while supporting The Westfield School. For more information or to secure your spot, please contact Gigi Placucci, Director of Development, at gplacucci@westfieldschool.org or (478) 987-0547 ext. 224.

Pre-K students love moving to the music! Music and movement help children refine their listening skills to notice changes in rhythm and tempo, use their creativity and imaginations, improve balance and coordination, and participate in a group setting while having so much fun! #westfieldfirstgrade #westfieldmusic
Seventh grade art students created neurographic pumpkins, now on display in the foyer of our Arts & Sciences building. Neurographic art offers a calming way to draw by making random lines and then rounding the corners. This type of art helps one relax and expresses emotions, creating unique and flowing designs to color within. Aren’t they neat?! #westfieldart

Our Pre-K and 6th grade friends had so much fun spending time together this morning! Mrs. Suzanne Johnson read the story My Monster Mama Loves Me So by Laura Leuck and talked about being a good friend, showing kindness, and being thankful for our friends and, most importantly, for God. They made "spiders" with Oreo cookies - and enjoyed eating them! Thank you to Mrs. Christy Mooring's sixth grade Christian Ethics class for being such sweet mentors for our littlest Hornets! #educationofmindandheart
Thank you to each and every person who donated items for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Your generosity has been overwhelming. We are thankful that these items were delivered during the fall break to St. James Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina, by Mrs. Amy Hiley and Mrs. Donna Davis, founders of the Wild Goose Chase Foundation, and many volunteers. Approximately 30 cases of water that would not fit on the flatbed trailer or in vehicles to go to North Carolina were delivered last Friday to Washington EMC in Sandersville in providing three meals a day to 300 linemen working in the eastern part of the state. Thank you to our varsity football players for helping load items. We are grateful for the opportunity for our students to help and serve others. Please continue praying for the communities affected. #servingothers #educationofmindandheart
