We are Westfield proud of our two finalists - juniors Cameron Staines and Sophie Walker - for the 2025 Governor's Honors Program! GHP is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who are selected in various fields of study. #buildingleaders

O is for Octopus! Mrs. Suzanne and Mrs. Bella's Pre-K class had a blast making these fun creatures of the sea! #westfieldprek

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Susie Hall and Mrs. Courtney Hale’s class celebrated the first day of spring by making their very own pinwheels. Spring fun! #westfieldkindergarten

We are Westfield proud of these fantastic readers! Today’s AR prize patrol recognized point earners from second grade to fifth grade. Way to go, Hornets! Keep reading! #acceleratedreader

We love seeing these second grade entrepreneurs at work! Students in Mrs. Jessica Roberts’s class have been learning about the value of money as part of their math unit. To put their knowledge into practice, they worked in groups to create a store and price their inventory. The students had fun purchasing items and making correct change for their own customers. They also learned to advertise to increase sales and the value of “buy one, get one free”! #handsonlearning

If you have visited our Lower School media center recently, you have seen the fantastic rockets on display! These rockets were designed and built by our second graders using recycled materials from home and incorporating geometric shapes. The students also wrote about where they would travel on their rockets and what they would see and do on the trip. Awesome work, second grade rocket scientists! #handsonlearning #WestfieldSTEM #RecycledArt

Freshmen in Ms. Ashley Bentley’s Honors Biology class extracted DNA from strawberries to see the fruit’s chromosomes. The students were able to see that though strawberries have eight sets of chromosomes compared to humans having two sets, both strawberries and humans share the same DNA structure. #handsonlearning #biologylab

Kindergarten has rhythm! These little Hornets in Mrs. Lea Rogers’ music class are learning to read music by practicing rhythm. #handsonlearning

Fourth graders in Mrs. Karen Ray’s art class have been learning about the famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci. This morning, they created their own versions of a Modern Mona! #westfieldart

Our Upper School art students in Mrs. DJ Blalock's class are channeling their creativity and bringing vibrant pop art to life! From bold colors to iconic imagery, these artists are embracing the spirit and fun of pop art and making it their own. #westfieldart

Our varsity girls’ basketball team and coaches celebrated a great season with their end of year banquet. Congratulations to all and to Mary Blake Brannen (All State and All Region), Hillary Fowler (All Region and All Star), and Kate Lane (All Region)! We are Westfield proud! #westfieldbasketball

Congratulations to senior Millie Ann Goodroe who was recognized as a March Scholar Athlete of the Month by the Perry Kiwanis Club! Millie is an honors student, a varsity cheerleader, and a starter on the varsity soccer team! She will be attending Georgia Southern University (Honors Program) this fall. We are Westfield proud! #buildingleaders #WHSclassof2025

Congrats to our varsity girls soccer team on a big 8-1 win over Southland ! Issy Dehem had a double hat trick scoring 6 goals. Rylee Mclure and Millie Goodroe each secured a goal. Way to go, Lady Hornets! #westfieldsoccer
