Don't miss Westfield's seventh annual "Red Out" on Tuesday, January 29th! Students will be encouraged to wear red to school and to the home basketball games that night (don't forget...it's a no homework night!) so we can red out the stands and create awareness about heart disease. Donations for the American Heart Association (AHA) will be collected through January 29.

Westfield's "Red Out," sponsored by the Senior Beta Club, began in February 2013 in honor of student Tucker Moody '15 who collapsed and suffered cardiac arrest during a varsity basketball game. He received CPR and underwent open heart surgery to correct an undetected congenital heart defect (anomalous left coronary artery). Tucker returned to Westfield after recovering from his surgery and played varsity football his junior and senior years. He is currently a senior at Auburn University. Since the 2013 Red Out, Westfield students, faculty, staff, and families have donated over $12,571 to the American Heart Association. #redoutforamericanheart #hornetshaveheart
