Hello Westfield families!
Only a few more days on campus, and the Class of 2019 will be Westfield grads headed to college! Our seniors are finishing their exams and preparing for Baccalaureate and Commencement next week. Our kindergarteners are practicing songs and poems for their cap and gown graduation, while our Pre-K students are working hard for their Super Summer Send-off. Varsity baseball plays in final four action tomorrow in their quest for a state championship. And, w e are excited to announce that we have opened a third Pre-K class for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year due to increased enrollment! A few spaces are remaining for Kindergarten! It's great to be a Westfield Hornet!
Tonight! Westfield will offer athletic physicals tonight (Thursday, May 9th) for any students in grades 5-11 who will be participating in a middle school or varsity sport next year. Physicals will be given in the Arts and Sciences building beginning at 6 pm.  Click here for the required forms which must be completed, signed, and submitted at the time of the physical. Forms are also available under Resource Documents on MyWestfield (powered by Renweb) and on our  school website .  The cost for the physical is $15 and may be charged to your child's Westfield account.
Spring Pictures Now Online for Viewing and Ordering Deadline to order is May 17

We are excited to share the 2019 Westfield Spring portraits by WeDo Photography, our school photographers, with you. Click here to view! As you browse the photos, you will find that there are digital and print purchasing options. The print packages have been set up so that you may order a package of your child and add additional prints or digitals of the group or other poses.

Just a few reminders as you log in to make your orders:
  1. You will use your email address and the password ‘happyspring’ to log in.
  2. Print orders must be placed by Friday, May 17th with (new this year) mail delivery directly to your home address.
  3. Digital orders must be placed by Friday, May 17th as well. Your digital order will be delivered through your email address, so be sure to watch your inbox 24-48 hours after to place your order.
  4. Please download all digital orders as soon as they are delivered to your inbox. The link is only active for five days.
  5. Please make sure to save your digital images in at least two places for safe keeping.
  6. With the digital files, please try to avoid the temptation to temper the images with social media filters and odd crops.

Third grade is getting ready for Market Day! Today, their "production line" is making worry stones for their product inventory to be sold for "Buzz Bucks"! Thank you to our Lower, Middle, and Upper School chorus students for a wonderful concert! Their performance of "The Songs of Disney" featured favorites from Disney musicals including The Lion King , Frozen , Moana, Mary Poppins Returns , Beauty and the Beast , Hercules , and The Princess and The Frog . Special thanks to Middle and Upper School chorus director Mrs. Lauren Mann, Lower School chorus director and accompanist Mrs. Lora Ennis, and creative/set director and Lower/Middle School art teacher Mrs. Karen Ray for putting on such a great show! HORNET BASEBALL ADVANCES TO FINAL FOUR!!!

 After sweeping Brookwood School in round two, our varsity baseball team has advanced to the final four and will host John Milledge Academy in the second round of the GISA state playoffs tomorrow and Saturday in a best two of three series. Game one is scheduled for 4 pm on Friday, May 10th, followed by game two at 6:30 p.m. Game 3 (if necessary) is scheduled for 1 p.m. Come out and support our region champion Hornets on their road to win STATE!
