Today's throwback is a salute to Westfield's swim program. Our swim program began in 2002 under the leadership of Coach Billy Sellers. The very first swim team had only two swimmers: Winfield Tufts and Casey Hillstrom. Although the first team was small in number, they had a strong season and placed sixth at the State GISA swim meet held at Fort Valley State University. Over the years, many teams and individual swimmers have placed at numerous Region and State meets, including the 2017 JV girls team that earned a fifth place finish at State in the 200 yd medley relay. Today's team is coached by Wendy Bryan and Karol Lee. Click here for a schedule of the remaining meets. #westfieldswimming #throwbackthursday #50yearsofwestfield #honoringourpastandbuildingourfuture
The safety and security of our students, faculty, staff and guests are very important to all of us! When driving on campus, please follow our drop off and pick procedures as outlined in the links below for safety purposes and to help traffic move as safely and efficiently as possible. We ask that you please drive slowly and safely, and encourage others (especially if you have Upper School students who are driving) to do the same.

Middle and Upper School foreign language students celebrated Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day (or "Dia de los Reyes in Spanish or le Jour des Rois in French). The students celebrated the tradition by leaving their shoes by the door in hopes that the three kings would leave gifts, crowning "kings" for the day, and eating kings' cake, also known as roscon de reyes or galette des Rois. #handsonlearning #educationofmindandheart #westfieldforeignlanguage
Thank you to the Warner Robins Rotary Club for presenting each one of our third graders their very own dictionary!
In a few weeks, we will be offering "Explore!" for Middle and Upper School students. This week of mini-enrichment classes (February 3 – February 7) taught by Westfield faculty will give students the opportunity to explore, discover, and learn about a variety of topics outside of traditional classroom courses and teaching methods. Each student will choose one mini-enrichment class to pursue during Explore! Week. A sampling of classes being offered includes: badminton, flag football, card games, art for stress relief, CPR, exercise (Yoga and Zumba), golf, debate techniques, and wiffle ball, just to name a few. This type of school enrichment program is designed to help students develop new interests and hobbies which help them learn independently and also to encourage life-long learning. #exploreweek #interactivelearning
