Congratulations to our sixth through twelfth grade students on hard work, dedication, and great academic success! We are Westfield proud of each one and of all of our Hornets! #honorsassemblyformiddleandupperschool
Oh the places they will go! From UGA to GA Tech, SCAD to Clemson, and the University of Florida to Georgia College, Georgia Southern, and places all in between, we are so excited about the Class of 2022 and where they will begin their college experience! #westfieldclassof2022 #westfieldseniortraditions
Congratulations to senior Jack Ham for being recognized as a Student of the Month by the Perry Chamber! We are Westfield proud!
Students in Ms. Dana Griffin’s sixth grade world cultures class conducted a Feudalism Simulation using Skittles to illustrate the personal arrangements between the king, vassals, and peasants involving the exchanges of land, loyalty, protection, and taxes. What a neat way to learn and understand history! #interactivelearning #handsonlearning #worldcultures #westfieldmiddleschool #educationofmindandheart
Each student in Mrs. Tina Bowker’s Spanish IV class chose a painting by Mexican artists Diego Rivera or Frida Kahlo. The artwork was researched, analyzed and interpreted by the students. Students then addressed a personal event that happened this year and illustrated said event through art as well as a written explanation. All work was presented in Spanish. Their work is on display in the Arts & Sciences building. #westfieldforeignlanguage
English IV students in Mrs. Kathy Stubbs’s classes are creating blackout poetry. Students are ”blacking out” the words in a writing passage that they do not want to use in their poems and selecting and arranging the words that are remaining. They are also illustrating their poems for a blend of art and literature. #westfieldupperschool #handsonlearning #poetry #educationofmindandheart
Upper School students in Ms. Sheridan Nadeau’s ceramics class are creating ancient style pots with modern style paintings. #westfieldfinearts #ceramics
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS FOR RISING 6TH
THROUGH 11TH GRADERS TONIGHT

Attention Westfield parents of rising 6th through 12th graders! We will be offering athletic physicals tonight, Thursday, May 5th, from 6 until 7 pm in the Arts and Sciences building. If your child is planning to participate in a Middle School or varsity sport, this is a great time to go ahead and get this taken care of. The GISA/GIAA requires that all student-athletes have a current (within the last calendar year of participation) physical on file with the school. The physicals will be $15 and may be charged to your account.

If your child/children will be attending, you must complete the packet of forms (you may download and print at the link below) prior to coming on May 5. Your child/children must bring the completed forms to the physical. Also, the student-athletes need to wear athletic clothing (t-shirt and shorts). The physicals will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.
Varsity baseball has advanced to the FINAL FOUR of the GISA AAA state playoffs and will play at Pinewood Christian Academy in Belville tomorrow! First pitch at 4 pm with game two at 6 pm. If needed, game three will be Saturday, May 7th at 4 pm. Good luck, Hornets! #westfieldbaseball
We are Westfield proud of our varsity girls soccer team and coaches! They had a great season and made it all the way to the state quarterfinals! Great job, Lady Hornets!! #westfieldsoccer
Congratulations to senior Seth Andrews who was recognized today by the Perry Kiwanis Club as a Scholar Athlete of the Month! Seth is an outstanding student and represented the Hornets in football, basketball, and golf. We are Westfield proud!
