Vespidae Dedicated to Mrs. Robin Leonard
We are pleased to announce the 51st volume of our Vespidae yearbook for the 2020-2021 school year is dedicated to Westfield faculty member, Mrs. Robin Leonard. Mrs. Leonard began teaching at Westfield in 2007 and has taught 8th grade English, Honors English I and II, and AP Language and Composition. She is the mother of two Westfield students - Wilt, a freshman, and Law, an 8th grader. As written in the yearbook by co-editors-in-chief Kerri Ann Lawson ‘21 and Katie Stuart ‘21, “Thank you for loving us and being the reason for our writing success. Westfield Announces 2021 Homecoming Court
Congratulations to our 2021 Homecoming Court representatives and Football Sponsor. These students were selected to the court by their classmates, and one of the senior representatives will be voted as the 2021 Homecoming Queen. The Homecoming Queen will be crowned during halftime of the Homecoming game vs Terrell Academy on Friday, October 1st. The football sponsor, Jesse Lee Walton, was selected by the Varsity Football Team.

Homecoming Spirit Week Dress Up Days...
Our Homecoming Spirit Week is Monday, September 27th through Friday, October 1st. Middle and Upper School students are encouraged to dress up each day. Lower School (grades 1 - 5) will participate on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; and Pre-K and Kindergarten will participate on Friday.
Monday: Western Day
Dress Up in Your best Wild West attire (grades 6 -12 only)
Tuesday: Jersey Day
Wear your favorite team jersey - football, basketball, baseball or soccer
(grades 1 - 12 only)
Wednesday: WHS Day
Dress as something that starts with a w, h, or s
(grades 1 - 12 only)
Thursday: Homeroom Wars
(grades 9 - 12 only)
(12th - senior citizens, 11th - onesies, 10th - colors, 9th - animals)
Friday: Spirit Day
Dress up in green, gold, and white and show your Hornet pride!

Homecoming shirts are available for purchase through our online Spirit Shop for $20 each. Deadline to order is Monday, September 20th. Shirts will be delivered to students at school during the week of Homecoming. |

New check out guidelines!
Students who need to check out in the afternoon must check out before 2 p.m. Because of heavy car line traffic, families checking out students at 2 pm or after have not been able to exit campus. For that reason, all check outs must be before 2 p.m. Parents/guardians who arrive after 2 p.m. to check out a student will have to wait until after our 3 p.m. dismissal and after car line traffic has moved through campus.

Athletic season passes are on sale for $100 each in the Administration Office. This pass allows entrance to all home regular season games (no playoffs) for Lower School, Middle School, JV, and varsity athletic events. Westfield students do not need athletic passes - their admission is free to all home regular season passes - their admission is free to all home regular season athletic events. |
