New Outerwear Requirements
for 2023-2024 Dress Code

As we begin to prepare for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, we wanted to inform you in advance of an update to our dress code for Lower, Middle, and Upper School students in regards to outerwear. Beginning with our 2023-2024 school year which starts August 8, 2023, the dress code for each division will include the following for outwear requirements:

Sweatshirts and hoodies (Westfield only) may be worn over a collared shirt (or over a Westfield t-shirt on Friday spirit days). No other sweatshirts/hoodies may be worn. Solid color pullovers and vests (such as Patagonia, Columbia, Vineyard Vines, etc.) over a collared shirt may be worn. Middle and Upper School students should wear their Westfield crewneck sweatshirt (one provided to each student) over a Westfield collared shirt for Wednesday required dress (see below). Jackets and coats without any wording may be worn. Camoflauge items are not allowed.

We will provide a Westfield crewneck sweatshirt at no cost to every student in grades Pre-K through 12th. Please click on the online order form below so that you may choose your child’s size and choose a color (hunter green or grey). Each sweatshirt will have the Westfield W embroidered on the left chest area. The sweatshirts will be given to students during the first week of school in August. If your child is not returning to Westfield next year, you will not need to complete the online order form.

Summer at Westfield
Our Lower School students are working hard to reach their Accelerated Reader (AR) goals! Congratulations to fourth graders Liam Kirschke and Caroline Perdue for earning 300 points each, fifth grader Olivia Peck with an amazing 600 points, and third grader Ryne Hobbs for 300 points! They are truly POWER readers, and we are Westfield proud! #acceleratedreaders #educationofmindandheart #LowerSchoolreaders
Thank you to Mr. Roland Berry and Mr. Lee Minor for visiting our Pre-K classes this week on behalf of the Warner Robins Rotary Club! The Rotary Club presented a Curious George book to each of our Pre-K students. Thank you, Rotarians! We appreciate all that you do for Westfield and our community!
Upper School students in Mrs. Rebecca Staines English III classes performed scenes from Shakespeare's Macbeth. #collaborativelearning #studyingliterature #upperschoolEnglish #educationofmindandheart
Our Lower School students enjoyed using their "Buzz Bucks" to shop at Third Grade's Market Place! Students in Mrs. Christy Grantham and Mrs. Lisa New's third grade classes are true entrepreneurs! They researched, designed, and manufactured their own products to sell, while learning about pricing, marketing, inventory control, and supply chain management. Lower School students earned "Buzz Bucks" by using good manners, showing kindness to others, and exhibiting their best behavior. Lower School students enjoyed shopping, refreshments, and games. Thank you, third graders, for a fun and successful Market Day! #westfieldthirdgrade
Congratulations to senior Molly Kate Paris for being selected as runner up in the Golden Eagle Awards (English literature category) and to all of our Golden Eagle nominees! The Golden Eagle Awards represent over 160 seniors from high schools all over Central Georgia. We are Westfield proud! #goldeneagle #WHSclassof2023 #buildingleaders
Congratulations to senior Molly Kate Paris who was recognized by the Perry Kiwanis Club for being named our class of 2023 Valedictorian, along with Perry High School's valedictorian, Claire McDonald. The Kiwanis Club shared, "Molly Kate not only excels academically, but also athletically as a member of the Westfield tennis and track teams. Most impressively though, is Molly Kate’s upstanding character and positive demeanor. Molly Kate will be attending the University of Georgia with plans to major in Journalism with a minor in Criminal Justice!" Well done, Molly Kate!
