Hello Westfield families!

Fall is in the air, and our students are working hard in the classroom, on these performance stage, and on the athletic field. Don't miss our Fall Chorus Concert featuring our Lower, Middle, and Upper School choruses on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall. Be sure to mark your calendar for the community performances of our One Act Play on October 25 and 26th. Come out and support our Hornets in football, cheer, softball, cross country, and clay target shooting.

Homecoming 2018

Thank you to all of students, faculty, families,alumni, and friends for making Homecoming 2018 a great night! Special thanks to our Alumni Council and our FLIK Dining staff for a delicious Alumni BBQ. As part of our pre-game festivities, the Board of Trustees honored Mrs. Glynelle Ellis Beeland '78 as this year's recipient of the Spirit of Westifeld Award. The Westfield-Beechwood-Baker Alumni Association recognized Mr. Ross Tolleson '75 who was selected as the recipient of the 2018 Alumni Award. Westfield is grateful to these individuals for their dedication, generous support, and service to Westfield and our community. Using Technology and Creativity to Learn

about Cell Structure

Seventh grade students in Mrs. Leigh Ann Champion's science classes are working on projects on the structure of cells. The students may choose different mediums for presenting their cell structure projects including videos, songs,games, and Powerpoints using their iPads, as well as traditional posters. #westfieldscience #technology

Fourth Grade Enjoys a Rock Buffet!

Fourth grade students in Mrs. Amber Churcher's science classes discovered that creating yummy treats is the perfect (and delicious!) way to learn about rocks and minerals. Turn In Your Box Tops By October 19th

to Help Westfield Earn $$$

Westfield is participating again in the Box Tops for Education program -- an easy way for our school to earn cash! During the 2017-18 school year, Westfield received over $1,100 from Box Tops for Education. Please place your student's box tops in a plastic baggie or envelope with his/her name and teacher's name and send them in to your student's homeroom teacher by October 19th. The classroom collecting the most box tops by October 19th will receive a reward party sponsored by the WFO! #westfieldfamilyorganization #boxtopsforeducation

To date, Publix Partners has donated $35,259.19 to Westfield...including $546.02 last quarter! The more families participating equals more rewards for our school!
