Our Lower School students and faculty are working hard to get ready for this year's Grandparents' Day performance on Friday, March 6th. Please click on the button below for important information and details about Grandparents' Day. Parents are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal on Thursday, March 5th at 8:45 am in the Gymnatorium.

Today’s post is a salute to Westfield’s student clubs, organizations, and councils. Westfield's faculty and staff have always recognized the importance of student leadership and community service opportunities. In fact, within the first few months Westfield (then known as Perry Christian Day School) opened its doors, faculty and students had already formed the Key Club, Junior Civinette Club, and Coed-Y Club. Over the years, more clubs have been added including Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Foreign Language Club, Tri-Hi-Y, Prayer Club, and many more. Whether academic, civic, or special interest related, these clubs provide students the opportunity to lead and serve others while bonding with fellow classmates. In addition to clubs, Westfield also provides opportunities for student leadership through the Middle and Upper School Student Councils. Helping students to build strong leadership skills and have servant's hearts is an essential part of our mission in preparing students for college and the future. #throwbackthursday #50yearsofwestfield

Perry Youth Leadership
Perry Youth Leadership applications are now available in Mrs. Jackie’s office. Only current sophomores are eligible to apply. Application deadline is April 17,2020.
Scholarships
Balvaunuca Scholarship Applications are now available in Mrs. Jackie’s office. This scholarship is awarded based on Community Service Activities. Applications are due to Miss Jackie by March 20, 2020.
Master Gardeners of Central Georgia Scholarship applications are now available in Miss Jackie’s office. Applicants must reside in Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, or Twiggs Counties. This scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in fields such as agriculture, biology, botany, ecology, environmental science, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field. Application packets must be received no later than April 6, 2020.
Houston County Bar Association Scholarship applications are now available in Miss Jackie’s office. Applicants must write a 250-500 word essay on assigned topic. Applications are due to Mrs. Jackie by Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

WFO is looking for a Chairperson for the Spirit Shop and an individual or two willing to assist the Chairperson. The Chairperson helps in the design, ordering, and inventory of all the Spirit Shop gear. This person(s) also works with our vendors and ensures that we have volunteers to cover the Spirit Shop trailer hours. This is a volunteer position.
