Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 50th Anniversary Campaign Kickoff! We had lots of fun and so far have raised over $30,000! Funds from this campaign will benefit the renovation of the Gymnatorium. Over the next three weeks, we hope to reach 80 percent school-wide participation. Please watch our new video below and consider making a donation today, so we can continue honoring our past and building our future!
Today’s post is a salute to one of Westfield’s most beloved teachers, Mrs. Ruth Walton. Mrs. Walton taught first grade at Westfield for many years. She was most known for having a piano in her classroom so her students could enjoy music every day. Today, her niece, Mrs. Julie Foy teaches first grade in the very same classroom that she taught in all those years ago. Westfield has and continues to be blessed with many remarkable teachers. #throwbackthursday #50yearsofwestfield #honoringourpastandbuildingourfuture
