Spring is officially just around the corner, but, on the Westfield campus, spring has arrived! Our students are ready to take on the last nine weeks of the school year in the classroom and are competing in literary and various sports from baseball to soccer, tennis, track, and golf! A display of artwork in our Lower School building reminds us to "Be Happy!" Thank you, first grade, for your awesome artwork!
We love how your work decorates our hallway and puts smiles on our faces.

Thank you to our Lower School students and teachers for an incredible performance of "Georgia on My Mind" for our 30th annual Grandparents' Day! Thank you to Mrs. Lora Ennis, Lower School music teacher, for directing the music, Mrs. Kay Ray, Lower/Middle School art teacher, for the stage decorations and set, and Mrs. Wendy Bryan, Lower School technology, and Mr. Matt Mellette, plant manager, for the sound. And, a very special thanks to Mrs. Joye Goodwin, Lower School Director, who has coordinated and directed each one of the thirty Grandparents' Day programs at Westfield.

Grandparents' Day is one of the most special events of the school year, and it is truly a blessing to have so many grandparents, parents, and special friends join us for a great show by our Lower School students. It is also a special tradition to have our senior class join the Lower School students on stage for the finale. We believe that fine arts programs such as Grandparents' Day are an essential part of our school mission, as they not only help students explore music, creativity, and self-expression, but also build self-control, confidence, leadership, and poise which are key in the growth and maturity for students of all ages. #westfieldgpd
Our Middle School chorus, directed by Mrs. Lauren Mann, sang for residents at  The Oaks Nursing and Personal Care Home  this week. We love seeing our students share their talents with others in the community.
Thank you to Brian Bowker, youth pastor at Berean Baptist Church and teacher/coach at Tattnall Square Academy, who shared God's Word and the need for salvation with Middle and Upper School students during this week's assembly. He is the son of Mrs. Tina Bowker, Westfield Upper School Spanish teacher!  #educationofmindandheart   #wednesdayassembly
