Please be reminded that tomorrow (Good Friday, April 19th) is a 12 noon dismissal for all students. Buses will depart campus at 12:08 p.m. There will be no After School Program available. Our Lower School students will enjoy a movie day on Friday, while our Middle and Upper School students will have Field Day (in the gym and gymnatorium if rainy weather). Monday, April 22nd will be a school holiday.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Be sure to check out the pictures from our Lower School's Easter Egg Hunts on our social media pages! We look forward to seeing our students and faculty back on campus on Tuesday, April 23rd!

Join us for the 25th Annual Westfield Booster Club Golf Tournament and Raffle Drawing (Grand Prize is $8,000) on Friday, April 19th at Houston Lake Country Club. If golfing is not your hobby, you can still support the Hornets and join in on the fun at the dinner and raffle which begin at 6:30 pm at HLCC. Seventh graders in Mr. Ken Fowler’s world cultures class are creating iMovie projects about the Far East. These projects give students a great opportunity to use both creative and technology skills while working collaboratively with other students -- important skills they will need for the future.

Jennifer Lewis, president of the Westfield Family Organization (WFO), and Laura Medlin, Director of Development, presented a donation on behalf of Westfield’s Lower School students and families to Larry Wood, director of Perry Volunteer Outreach (PVO). The funds for the donation were made possible through monies collected by Lower School as part of Kids’ Give. The donation was made in memory of Frank Shelton, founder of PVO and long-time Westfield supporter and grandparent. Because of his vision, PVO has made a tremendous impact on the lives of many families throughout Perry over the past 20 years. Thank you to all of our families for their generous support of PVO, and we are pleased to present this donation in Mr.Shelton’s memory. #servingourcommunity #educationofmindandheart
