The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable, and talented high school sophomores and juniors. GHP offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders. Congratulations, Wilt! We are Westfield proud!! #buildingleaders

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Christina Gilbert and Mrs. Cristi Parks's class learned today that you can make a rainbow of colors out of jelly beans! The students hypothesized as to whether they thought warm water or vinegar would dissolve the jelly beans and had so much fun watching it happen right before their eyes! #handsonlearning #westfieldkindergarten

An Easter Egg Hunt is a great way to learn to count coins! Our first graders found the hidden eggs, counted the change inside, and recorded the amount of change in each egg on their sheet. They had a blast! #westfieldfirstgrade #Eastermath #countthecoinsEasteregghunt

Eighth graders in Mrs. Amy Hiley’s physical science class used marshmallows to explore heat transfer via conduction, convection, and radiation. #handsonlearning #westfieldscience

Spanish III students in Mrs. Tina Bowker's classes enjoyed the opportunity for food, fellowship, and a chance to use their linguistic skills on a field trip for lunch at Tapatio Fort Valley. #learningoutsidetheclassroom #westfieldforeignlanguage

Every Thursday, our kindergarten students share what they are thankful for through writing and art. Today was especially sweet as they wrote about their thankfulness for our Savior dying on the cross and the true meaning of Easter. What a blessing to be able to teach and encourage these Biblical truths to young hearts! #ThankfulThursday #westfieldkindergarten #educationofmindandheart

Our hearts are blessed to see our students learning the true meaning of Easter! #westfieldkindergarten #EasteratWestfield #educationofmindandheart

Thank you to our Upper School Praise Band and to Jeff Glenn, Next Generations Pastor at Shirley Hills Baptist Church, for sharing God’s Word with our Middle and Upper School students this morning. He told the Old Testament story of Jacob who wrestled with God and couldn’t receive His blessing until he was broken and humbled. He encouraged students to persist in seeking God and to submit humbly live our lives to Him. We are grateful for such opportunities to help point our students to Christ! #WednesdayWisdom #educationofmindandheart
