FLU VACCINES AT WESTFIELD
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14 AT 1 PM

The Houston County Health Department will be on the Westfield campus Thursday, October 14th at 1 pm to provide flu vaccines for students and faculty. There is no charge for the vaccine. All students must have a completed and signed consent form turned into the school office no later than Wednesday, October 13th. Verbal, written note, or email permission will not be accepted, as the Health Department must have the signed consent form in order to administer the flu vaccine.
New guidelines for checking out students during the school day!

Students who need to check out in the afternoon must check out before 2 p.m. Because of heavy car line traffic, families checking out students at 2 pm or after have not been able to exit campus. For that reason, all check outs must be before 2 p.m. Parents/guardians who arrive after 2 p.m. to check out a student will have to wait until after our 3 p.m. dismissal and after car line traffic has moved through campus.
Please remember to call the school office at 478-987-0547 IN ADVANCE so that we may have your child ready to check out prior to 2 pm.
Westfield Seniors Recognized
as National Merit Scholars

Congratulations to seniors Conner Shelton and Coe Leavengood who have been recognized nationally in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. Conner is one of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors to include the highest-scoring entrants taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). To become a Finalist, a Semifinalist must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, demonstrate leadership abilities, participate in school and community activities, and earn SAT® or ACT® scores that confirm the student’s earlier performance on the qualifying test. As a Commended Student, Coe placed among the top 50,000 students across the nation who entered the competition by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). We are Westfield proud!
