Dear Kindercottage Families and Friends,
Summer is in full swing at Uni Pres Kindercottage, and we are embracing the sunshine, laughter, and learning that this season brings! Our children are growing up in so many ways, exploring new activities, making new friends, and enjoying engaging educational experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
Here are a few exciting highlights from this summer:

Water Play & Outdoor Fun: We’ve been keeping cool with splash pad visits, water play in our playground, and creative sensory activities that bring both joy and development for our little ones.

Gardening Adventures: Our children are getting their hands dirty (in the best way!) as they help tend our summer garden—learning about healthy foods, responsibility, and the magic of growth. A big thank you to our master Gardner Mr. Mattox and Zoar UCC in Columbia in special care of Pastor RJ and Mrs. Nancy for creating a beautiful start to are planting season.

Field Trips & Family Engagement: From educational trips to nature parks the Zoo, and family fun days, that included two celebration days where our grandfathers came out and fired up the grill for some tasty BBQ. We are certainly building some marvelous memories that last a lifetime.

Health & Wellness Focus: With the support of our health coach and local partners, children are learning about nutritious eating, movement, and how to care for their growing bodies in fun and meaningful ways.
- Please join us at the upcoming annual 3K walk with our very own Coach Melody. This walk is done to fight childhood obesity, and we are excited to announce that Uni Pres Kindercottage will be hosting the KIDS CORNER on Saturday September 13th, 2025. Staff Development: Our amazing team continues to receive professional development and training, ensuring your children receive the highest quality of care and education.
