Walking Alongside Families: How Home Visiting Helped Destiny Thrive

Destiny, a mother of four, found invaluable support through the All For Kids Home Visiting Program in Orange County. Balancing parenting and career aspirations, she gained reassurance from in-person and virtual visits, parenting tools, and a strong community. The program provided essentials like baby-proofing supplies, diapers, and referrals for additional resources, easing financial stress. A Safe Sleep Grant ensured her baby had a secure sleeping space, and weekly visits with her Family Support Counselor, Vanessa, helped her navigate postpartum challenges. Now, with newfound confidence, Destiny is setting new goals for her future.

Standing with Families in Times of Need

When life feels uncertain, having the right support can bring a sense of stability. Whether you’re recovering from the Los Angeles fires or seeking guidance on immigration-related concerns, these resources are here to help.

At All For Kids, we are grateful to our loyal donors for their ongoing financial support. One way you can create a legacy and have a far-reaching, long-term positive impact, is by considering All For Kids as a beneficiary in your estate or will. Bequests are deductible against the value of an individual’s estate, making them an effective way to decrease estate taxes.

Here are a few benefits of including All For Kids in your estate planning:

  • Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.
  • You can modify your gift to address changing circumstances.
  • You can direct your gift to a particular purpose (be sure to check with us to make sure your gift can be used as intended).
  • Under current tax law, there is no upper limit on the estate tax deduction for your charitable bequests.
