WORKSHOPS
Have you attended any of our workshops and felt your family and friends would benefit from learning about them? We can bring them right to the community! If you’re interested in hosting one, please contact us at info@mas-ssf.org.
In 2025, we started a new series of workshops under our Shifa For Youth Program revolving around S.M.A.R.T. Goals where youths learned how to create Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound Goals for themselves. For more information, download our SFY flyers here in English, Dari and Pashto.
We also launched Play and Learn Group sessions for children up to 5 years old. These sessions focus on achieving two goals: helping children grow confident and comfortable as they prepare for school and empowering parents with tools, guidance, and faith-based strategies to nurture healthy, thriving families. For more information, download our SFY Play and Learn flyer here..
Other workshops we provide include:
- Anti-bullying
- Know Your Rights
- Mental Health First Aid
- Parenting Teens in a New Country
- Parenting Young Children in a New Country
- Societal Norms for Newcomer Families
- What is Mental Health? Remove the Stigma
- Other topics available on request
