Place of Hope, Hands and Feet and New Creation Missionary are working together in Place of Hope’s Shade Tree Family Outreach program to provide material support to families and children and need!

✨ Help us collect the items we need for our Shade Tree Family Outreach Program to serve our local community through child abuse prevention and family strengthening.
Shade Tree Family Outreach Program, we are providing family outreach and intervention programs, family strengthening initiatives and critical services to families and children who are navigating the child welfare system. All programs and service offered through Shade Tree Family Outreach are aimed at supporting and blessing children and families dealing with the dependency/child welfare and foster care systems; meeting emergency and family preservation needs; expanding the ministry reach of Place of Hope. Shade Tree Family Outreach also promotes child abuse and neglect prevention and awareness, and child advocacy.
ANSWERING THE CALL

☎️ We received a call from a grandmother is a relative caregiver and took in her grandson from birth 11 months ago. She is struggling to care for him and was in need of necessities like diapers.

Working with our friends, Hands and Feet through our Shade Tree Family Outreach program, this grandmother was able to receive the things she needed. She was also given a referral for therapy.
ANSWERING THE CALL

☎️ Recently, a grandmother took in her three grandchildren, ages 3 years, 2 years and 8 months old. Dad has abandoned them and mom is struggling with an addiction.

Not having children for years and not having the means to purchase everything she needs to care for this sibling group, we received a call for material support for clothes, shoes, diapers, baby formula and car seats!

With our friends, Hands and Feet through our Shade Tree Family Outreach program, we were able to answer the call and get Grandma the things she needed.
We are so thankful for our friends at Carr Riggs & Ingram who are hosting a summer time drive to benefit the children and families in care at Place of Hope. July through August they are collecting diapers, wipes, socks and underwear, new and gently used clothing, non perishable goods, new and gently used strollers, car seats, cribs and pack & plays.
Thank you International Materials who always says yes! We recently asked them if they would host a drive to benefit the children and families being cared for through our Shade Tree Family Outreach Program. Their team showed up in overwhelming numbers to give financial gifts, or donate diapers, wipes, formula and baby clothing!

Briton Novakoski is the Program Specialist at Joann’s Cottage, a faith-based, family-style maternity home for girls providing comprehensive care for young mothers and young mothers-to-be. The maternity home operates at a secured location in a traditional family neighborhood, welcoming girls into a safe, healthy, and productive environment 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Joann’s Cottage provides professional case management, independent living services, parenting classes, access to quality medical care, and comprehensive support services to ensure safety and well-being of the mothers and mothers to be. In addition to this, Joann’s Cottage offers consistent residential care, supervision, and healthy influences that strive to meet each girl’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and educational needs.

For the 3rd year, The Crossfit Squad has stepped up to host a Crossfit Competition Fundraiser, "Throwdown for the Kids" for Place of Hope! Since launching their challenge, they have raised over $10,000 for the kids at Place of Hope!

Place of Hope's 11th annual Sporting Clays Fun Shoot is the largest charity fun shoot in the state bringing together over 350 shooters to raise critical funds for local foster children, homeless youth, families in transition and human trafficking survivors. Known to be one of the most well-run shoots, this fun shoot offers shooters of all ages, skill levels and professions a great day of camaraderie, friendly competition, breakfast, lunch, awards, raffle and live auction!

Once again, we are at the beautiful Quail Creek Sporting Ranch and will offer our shooters their choice of two flights: morning or afternoon. Morning shooters will enjoy breakfast, a morning on one of two courses, followed by lunch and awards, raffles and a live auction. Afternoon shooters will culminate with morning shooters to enjoy lunch, raffles and the live auction, followed by an afternoon on one of two courses.
