Our Mission:

Food 4 Kids works to alleviate childhood hunger and promote literacy on the Lower and Outer Cape by bringing together The Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal) and local communities to provide free meals and free books for children and teens in the summer when schools are out.

As we celebrate the new year, we have some wonderful news to share: together, we exceeded our fundraising goal for the year with over $30,000!

We are so grateful—and inspired—by this community.

Because of your generosity, Food 4 Kids is heading into our 14th summer stronger than ever. With food insecurity on the Lower and Outer Cape expected to rise due to changes to SNAP qualifications and healthcare costs, and threats to child nutrition programs, your support means we’ll be ready to step up for every child who needs us in 2026.

Whether you gave, shared our message, or cheered us on—thank you. Your belief in our mission ensures that local kids will have full bellies and local families will have peace of mind next summer.
