Dear Partners,

Warm greetings from the Shepherd Society.

As we near the end of another challenging year, our hearts hold both sorrow and gratitude — sorrow for the ongoing suffering around us, and deep gratitude for your steadfast support that brings light into the darkest places.

Through your generosity, we were able to make a real difference:

  • 52 graduates and breadwinners employed through our Employment Project, which will conclude on November 15, 2025 — creating income, stability, and renewed purpose.
  • Since 2023, we have supported over 350 people through the program.

🎄 Christmas Campaign: Restoring Hope

In response to the ongoing suffering in Gaza, we have launched a medical project to support children and adults who have lost limbs during the war.

In partnership with the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR), prosthetic limbs are being produced in Bethlehem using 3D printing technology and fitted in Gaza through our local partners/ clinics and hospitals.

🌿Restoring Hope and Healing

Gaza

At the same time, activities continue for children and youth inside the church in Gaza, including academic and recreational workshops such as candle making for youth, wool crafting, and educational lessons in Arabic, English, and Mathematics and Science.

These programs provide a safe and nurturing space for learning, creativity, and emotional healing. Explore this initiative in detail here.

Bethlehem

We are also continuing our Yarn Project — a creative initiative that engages both children and women, providing them with meaningful activities, psychosocial support, and opportunities for growth and empowerment. The community in Palestine, in general, needs mental health.

Your support can help restore hope and healing to families this Christmas.

🩺 Upcoming Medical Day – November 7

Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for our Free Medical Clinic tomorrow, November 7, focusing on breast cancer and diabetes awareness in Bethlehem. All beneficiaries in the Bethlehem district are invited.

Thank you for standing with us. Your love and generosity truly make a difference.

With Heartfelt Appreciation,

The Shepherd Society Team
