NEW PODCAST EPISODE: FEATURING DR. TERRY LAKIN

Dear Friends, Patients, and Fellow Warriors,


Yesterday morning, I had a dream that, I’ll be honest, freaked me out. In the dream, a young mother and father were driving down a road with their toddler son in his car seat. They were discussing the pediatrician visit they just left, filled with doubt and discomfort and confusion over what they had heard. As they talked, their son suddenly began having a seizure in his car seat. When the seizing stopped, he stared straight ahead, unresponsive to their calls. I woke up in a panic, jumped out of bed, and thought to myself: We just lost another one. We have to get to work.


I’m not sharing this dream to scare parents, but to sound an alarm. I am sure most of us have heard at least one story where a child was developing normally then soon after having a wellness visit at the pediatrician’s office, suffered some sort of adverse event and the parents noticed an extreme or mild delay or change in their child's behavior or development. Dig deep enough and you’ll discover that our own government has been hiding data and ignoring the key influential factors contributing to the decline in children’s health. The CDC's revised Childhood Vaccination schedule now recommends the first dose of the COVID vaccine for children as young as 6 months, followed by a second dose at just 7 months. This schedule has never undergone the proper testing, and we know, without question, that after the second dose, the immune system is compromised, making the body more vulnerable to illness, COVID, and even cancers.


Where is the risk-benefit analysis? There is no benefit here—only risk, and all of it falls on our children.


I can almost hear Jim now, saying that pediatricians should be on trial for attempted murder for every dose of this vaccine they administer to a child. Since he’s not here to say it, I will. Recently, I was invited to share these very thoughts on Clay Clark's podcast, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to carry on Jim’s mission. His spirit lives on through me, and I will never stop fighting for what he stood for.


While continuing this important work, I’ve been blessed by the incredible support and generosity from around the world. Our team at MeehanMD has been working tirelessly to bring MINDSETkids to life. We are excited to offer parents a professional and affordable healthcare option for their children.


In addition to this, our adult medical practice is thriving and expanding. We have a fully functioning brick-and-mortar office right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and we’re able to serve patients nationwide via telehealth. I’m also thrilled to introduce Dr. Terry Lakin, who offices at our Tulsa location. I had the privilege of having him as a guest on The Meehan Mission Podcast, and the feedback from patients has been overwhelmingly positive. If you haven’t met him yet, I encourage you to listen to the podcast and get to know him.


I also ask that you please share MINDSETkids with friends and family, especially those with young children or expectant mothers. With so many external threats to our health—EMF, harmful food additives, and more—it’s critical that we all become scientists of our own health. Healthy babies come from healthy moms (and dads!), and we need the next generation to be strong and resilient.

Dr. Meehan created the​ Meehan MINDSET​™ Seven Key Elements of Health & Longevity ​to assist his patients on their health optimization journey. When emphasis is given to each of the seven categories, our health can be rejuvenated.

E - Exercise


Physical wellness involves aspects of life that are necessary to keep yourself in top condition. Optimal physical wellness is developed through the combination of beneficial physical activity/exercise and healthy eating habits. Elemental components of physical wellness include building muscular strength, cardiovascular strength, endurance, and flexibility. Physical wellness is also concerned with developing personal responsibility for your own health care, such as caring for minor illnesses and knowing when professional medical attention is needed.


Developing physical wellness empowers you to be able to monitor your own vital signs and understand your body's warning signs. You'll understand and appreciate the relationship between sound nutrition and how your body performs. The physical benefits of looking good and feeling terrific most often lead to the psychological benefits of enhanced self-esteem, self control, determination, and a sense of direction.


Not sure where to start?


Perhaps start with a walk, then a jog, then a run! Start with stretching, then some body weight exercises. Pushup, sit-ups, squats. Really work on mobility. Then maybe add some weight! Weighted body weight exercises, then work on compound barbell movements, then finally isolated weighted movements.
