Together Bearing Fruit That Will Last - Live these words
This past Sunday we heard from Elder and longtime University Presbyterian Church member, John Anderson, who celebrated the many significant life milestones he, his wife Leigh, and sons Scott and Will have treasured in their experience in relationship with the family of faith at UPC.
John witnesses to the many outreach programs and volunteer opportunities offered through ministry at UPC and the positive impacts they have made in the lives of his family, in our local community, and around the globe. In reflection about our individual responses to this year's stewardship campaign, John invites us to "live these words" as he recalled an excerpt from a recent Prayer of Confession. Holy God, we long to make a difference: to love well, to give thanks, and to ease the burden of our neighbor.
