Together for Kingdom Impact

Greetings Ministry Partners,

In June, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to encourage several coordinators and a facilitator to attend the first CCI Malay Conference in Bohol, Philippines. We sincerely appreciate CCI’s generous support in providing one-way tickets, which made their participation possible. It was a tremendous blessing to feel truly connected to the global CCI family and to be included in an international gathering of this significance. It is both an honor and a source of great encouragement for us in Indonesia.

Despite language differences, we were warmly welcomed and fully able to enjoy the rich fellowship and family atmosphere that defines CCI. The teaching sessions were powerful and edifying, and the conference tour brought additional joy and encouragement. We were especially blessed by the biblical insights shared by several local speakers from the CCI Philippines Board of Directors. This gathering also gave us the opportunity to deepen relationships with our brothers and sisters in CCI Philippines. We are truly grateful to CCI for making this experience possible. The progress and growth we witnessed in the Philippines have inspired us to pursue similar development and expansion within CCI Indonesia.

We returned renewed in spirit and refreshed in our vision. It is our prayer that, in the future, a conference like this can also be hosted in Indonesia, allowing more of our leaders to experience the same blessing and fellowship we enjoyed in the Philippines.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Classes

In Parondobulawan, I had the opportunity to teach a new class focused on the importance of studying God’s Word daily and consistently. We explored five powerful ways God’s Word accomplishes His purposes, along with seven life-changing goals that come from reading, meditating on, and obeying Scripture. The teaching stirred the hearts of the participants, motivating them to deepen their personal relationship with God through regular study of His Word.

In the ongoing Pelita Kasih class, we have now reached Book #9, the Church History Survey. Participants are encouraged to thoughtfully examine each historical era of the Church to identify positive developments that can be applied today, as well as past failures that must be avoided. The class is growing in both knowledge and discernment as they connect the lessons of history with the present-day Church.

On Badak Street, I’ve been teaching a class on the Gospels of Matthew through Luke. The participants expressed how blessed they were to learn the historical and cultural backgrounds of each Gospel. Understanding the intended audience helped them grasp why certain phrases and emphases appear in each text. Many shared that this new perspective made the Bible much easier to understand and more personal.

At Maron’s Café, I led a class on how to observe the text of God’s Word by focusing on four key elements: Words, Structure, Atmosphere, and Letter Form. One participant, Rona, testified that these tools have been extremely helpful for her. She now feels more equipped to interpret Scripture accurately and understand what the text is truly saying. It’s a joy to see believers growing in confidence and clarity as they study the Bible for themselves.

Staff Update

Daniel Pua Padang, Mamasa Area Coordinator:

In early June, I had the opportunity to visit and teach several classes. On June 5, I taught Church History Survey to the Sabara Combined Class. One participant, Tolayuk, shared, “Learning Book 9 was a blessing because through it I learned how difficult the Church's journey is, but God's plan is still on track.” That same day, I also visited the Masewe Class. Ms. Lilis responded, “I was personally blessed because I had never learned this way before.”

On June 7, we held a seminar on God's Financial Principles at GBI Kirak, attended by six participants who engaged deeply with the biblical approach to managing finances.

Then on June 8 and 15, I visited the Aralle Class and taught from Book 6, continuing to encourage and equip the students in their training journey.

Testimony

"My name is Rona, and I am a student at Café Maron in Makassar. I am grateful to have the opportunity to attend the CCI study class. The teaching materials I received have helped me personally to grow spiritually, and I apply the lessons I received in class to teach my children in prayer and meditation on God's Word that we do every night before going to bed."

Prayer Requests & Praises

  • We are grateful that four delegates from Indonesia were able to attend the first Malay Conference in Bohol, Philippines.
  • Pray for the plan to open classes in Palu, Central Sulawesi; Lamasi, South Sulawesi; Balikpapan, East Kalimantan; and Semarang, Central Java. Pray that there will be teachers who are ready to teach in these places.
  • Pray for my plan to visit the classes in Sumba.
  • Pray for the CCI Indonesia class teachers to be motivated by God and see that teaching classes is part of their calling to serve God, not to serve CCI to get support.
  • Pray that churches and national people can become donors to CCI Indonesia.
  • Please pray that the two area coordinators, Pastor Daniel (Mamasa Area Coordinator in West Sulawesi) and Oktavianus (Sumba Area Coordinator in West Timor), may effectively and faithfully carry out their responsibilities.
