Building on progress
Suicide Awareness Month and Construction Suicide Prevention Week are reminders to look out for the people around us. A check-in, a conversation after a shift or knowing where to send someone for help can matter more than you realize.
Recent construction industry data show that suicide and drug-related death rates have begun to decline.* But the suicide rate in construction is still four times higher than the general population. The gap is a reminder of why it matters to keep making support easier to find.
Take a few minutes this week to learn one resource you can use for yourself or share with someone else.
