(This is two of three inspiring emails you'll receive in the the next 24 hours about #GivingTuesdayNow)
The above photo is of my son. He's 6 and he's missing his Kindergarten year. Why my kid can't go to school isn't a conversation I ever thought I'd have to have. Not to mention, I never thought I'd need to learn how to sew child-size face masks, but here we are, baby boy's first pandemic.

So today, I'm giving a donation in honor of my son's lost kindergarten experience.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our world, but it hasn’t changed grief, or the grave need for mental health support during one of the hardest times in our lives.
Giving Tuesday, the organization that founded Giving Tuesday has created a new day of giving in light of the current pandemic. #GivingTuesdayNow is taking place right now and all day today. May 5 now represents a day of giving and unity as an emergency response to the unprecedented needs caused by COVID-19.
Your gift, no matter the amount WILL make a difference to those who feel isolated in grief.
We are all living in times of uncertainty. The Calm Waters team stands (6 feet apart) and applauds the efforts of our healthcare workers, grocery store employees and so many more who put their own safety at risk each day to ensure others needs are met.
We invite you to give today in honor of someone in your life who is sacrificing their own comfort for others.
P.S. No gift is too small. Please join the global movement and help us reach the #GivingTuesdayNow goal amount of $1,500!
