Princess Melani's Magical Day

Five-year-old Melani from Hyattsville, Maryland is a true believer in magic. She is captivated by the vibrant worlds of Disney, with her absolute favorite princesses being the royal sisters from Frozen, Anna and Elsa.

Outside the snowy kingdom of Arendelle, her favorites span from the tropical fun of Lilo & Stitch to the colorful, musical world of Cocomelon.

Melani’s ultimate dream is to meet these princesses in real life. To play, laugh, and share a magical moment with her favorite characters would be an unforgettable memory for Melani. But what would make it all the better is a birthday party where these princesses would come to celebrate her.

That dream came to life with a spectacular princess-themed birthday party. Dressed up as a princess herself in her favorite color, purple, Melani got to live out her own fairytale. Alongside Elsa and Anna, she dived into fun arts and crafts, had her face painted with a whimsical design, and enjoyed her favorite food: pizza.

It was a beautiful celebration, not just of the things she loves, but of Melani’s own incredible strength and bright spirit.

We’re bringing Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic to the waterfront for Wishes on the Water, a new signature event supporting children with critical illnesses across our region.

This year, their support has been felt across our mission, from sponsoring and participating in Wish Ball and WISH Luncheon to creating memorable wish celebrations at their dealerships.

This summer, Sheehy Toyota of Laurel hosted two wish sendoffs that perfectly captured the excitement of each child's upcoming adventure. In June, Tayvin's love of Jurassic Park took center stage as guests stepped into a prehistoric world complete with paleontologists and real dinosaur bones. Then in July, Nathan's upcoming trip to Alaska inspired a celebration filled with adventure, including an AI photo experience that transported guests into the Alaskan wilderness beneath the breathtaking glow of the Aurora Borealis.

At Sheehy Timonium, the team helped send Audrey off on her wish to Hawaii with a tropical celebration that brought the spirit of the islands right to Maryland. Audrey enjoyed a Hawaiian-themed party filled with vibrant décor, island-inspired fun, and excitement for the journey ahead.
