Council to Fill District 6 Vacancy, Vote on Changes to Standing Committees

At its regular meeting scheduled for 4:00 p.m. today, Toledo City Council is expected to fill the District 6 seat left vacant when Lindsay Webb recently resigned to become Lucas County Treasurer. A candidate will be appointed by a majority vote of Council. A special election to serve the remainder of the term, which runs through 2019, will be held on May 8.

Chamber Applauds Funding Commitment for Dorr Street Interchange 
Construction barrel

The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce applauds the Ohio Department of Transportation's Transportation Review Advisory Council's (TRAC) decision to commit $18 million for construction of an interchange at I-475 and Dorr Street. 

The additional interchange is a critical component to the long-term economic development success of the Toledo Region.
