Morning Access Speaker Announced

Doug Farren, Managing Director of the National Center for the Middle Market at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business is confirmed to speak at the Chamber's Morning Access: Education and Workforce Development breakfast on October 13, 2017. This breakfast provides an opportunity for business and education leaders to connect directly in a relaxed business setting.  

Institute of Leadership and Advocacy

The 17th edition of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce's public service leadership program is set to begin in January 2018. Every year, the program graduates individuals representing a cross-section of the area who go on to improve the region and advance their own professional goals. The program is the longest running of its kind in the state. To date, more than 300 leaders from around the Toledo Region have graduated from the program.

Toledo City Council to Vote on Returning $3 Million to CIP Fund

At its regular meeting at 4:00 p.m. today, Toledo City Council is expected to vote on Ordinance 381-17 which would direct the transfer of $3 million from the city's General Fund to the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Fund to make it available for roadway improvements or other eligible expenditures. 

Savage and Associates Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

Savage and Associates, Inc., a leading financial services firm celebrating its 60th year in business, is beginning construction on a new headquarters. The 30,000 square foot office building will be located on Beaver Creek Circle in Arrowhead Park. The groundbreaking ceremony was held today in collaboration with NAI Harmon Group.
