Toledo School for the Arts and,
Bowling Green State University 'play sweet music together'
Friday, October 7, 2016: When you blend two outstanding organizations - good things usually happen. High flying, Toledo School for Arts (TSA) is a wonderful public charter school that has been rated Excellent for seven consecutive years offers students a premier arts based college preparatory education. They have over 500 students on their 'wait list' for future enrollment. And, TSA's sponsor is the highly regarded Bowling Green State University. (BGSU)
For years, this charter school has offered the community a monthly program called, First Friday where their students perform demonstrating their music, acting and dance talent. Today, for the first time young musicians from TSA and BGSU were on the stage together before a packed audiance offering an outstanding musical program.
At the conclusion of the TSA - BGSU student performance, Doug Mead, TSA Director said, "We are excited about having our students and BGSU college students collaborating to perform this beautiful musical program today. We are honored to have BGSU as our sponsor. These two organizations represent the template for the way charter schools and sponsors should look like."
Mrs. Kerger, parent and TSA's former PTO President said, "TSA has been a great choice for our family and having BGSU as their sponsor provides us with an even greater confidence in our decision."

Dr. Mathis, Dean of BGSU College of Musical Arts noted, "As TSA's sponsor, we have also been looking for ways to collaborate and inspire students to pursue their arts-based talents. Today has been a good start and we are very pleased with the results."
Congratulations to Toledo School for the Arts and
