LOS ANGELES (April 18, 2023) — The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) announced today that Tom Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, H/Advisors Abernathy, is joining the organization’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

 

At Abernathy, Tom shapes a growth strategy rooted in its powerful heritage of being a trusted partner. Tom also serves as the co-Chief Executive Officer of the H/Advisors global network providing top local market expertise for cross-border communications.

 

In his role, Tom counsels CEOs, executive teams and boards on all strategic communications matters in critical moments. His particular focus is on special situations such as transactions, activist investors, crises, management changes and governance matters. His last five years included overseeing the significant expansion of business.

 

Prior to joining Abernathy, Tom served as Editor-in-Charge of Investment Banking and Finance for Reuters North America, where he also ran the M&A and IPO desks. He was also a financial markets and M&A reporter at CNN Financial News.

 

Tom received his bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Towson State University. Recognized as a communications leader, he is frequently asked to speak at the Tulane Corporate Law Institute and the Equilar Board Leadership Forum among others.
