Asphalt work was completed on the Tom Petty Park tennis courts on August 12, following supply chain delays. Surfacing of the courts will take place in September, once the asphalt has cured. The project is expected to complete in mid-October.
Tom Petty Park tennis courts were originally constructed in the 1970s and require a complete rebuild. Nidy Sports Construction Company, Inc. will perform the work at a project cost of $158,245.
