Improvements to the three softball fields at Tom Petty Park, located at 400 NE 16th Ave., have begun. Work includes drainage, turf and irrigation improvements, six new shade structures over the existing bleachers and upgraded ADA access. Improvements are anticipated to complete in late November. Andrews Paving, Inc. is the general contractor for the project with a project cost of $592,457.00.
