FINALISTS FOR TPU DIRECTOR ANNOUNCED
Tacoma Public Utilities has narrowed down their search for a new director.

Each of three candidates will give a 10 minute presentation to City Council this afternoon in a joint study session with the Utility Board prior to a 4 pm interview panel.

CANDIDATE FILING WEEK IS IN FULL SWING
There are numerous important positions up for election this year including County Council Districts 1, 5, and 7, County Auditor, County Prosecutor,as well as State Legislature, Congressional and US Senate seats.

WASHINGTON BUILDING GETTING FACELIFT
In an effort to take advantage of the warm summer weather, updates to the Washington Building have begun. The structure, located downtown on the corner of 11th and Pacific, is on schedule to welcome its first residents in 2020.

Spaceworks Tacoma announces “The Light We Hear” an exhibit of multimedia sculptures & installations by Andy Behrle at the 950 Gallery.

CONNECT WITH MILITARY LEADERS AT EVERGREEN FLEET CRUISE
Our service members and military families are the greatest assets in the South Sound.

Join the Chamber on June 20th for the annual Evergreen Fleet Cruise and connect with military leadership and spouses in a casual environment. This all-day event includes breakfast at the Tacoma Yacht Club, a cruise around the sound, and lunch at the private Wollochet Bay outstation.
