Greetings from HOT and HUMID GA!!!!!! “They” say we will reach over 100 degrees heat index AGAIN today. God be with those who have to work in this heat!!!!
It has been a eventful two weeks since I posted here. I have been sick, (possibly ANOTHER kidney stone) and I celebrated my birthday with a visit to Trion, Ga. I was able to spend the night with my beloved friend in Cedartown AND visit my son Joshua for the first time in FIVE years on my birthday, June 30.
My beloved friend Bill Lyman, Sr. also passed away during this period and a special SHOUT OUT to the grieving family.

Even after ALL these years of following and serving Christ Jesus I AGAIN find myself AMAZED at God's CONTINUES provision. Nothing special or nothing MIRACULOUS has occurred-just AGAIN God allowing me to pay my bills!

Full disclosure-I AM A TITHER!! I have TITHED ALL my income for over 45 years-as far back as I can remember.
TITHING is something, I believe, that cannot be taught-IT MUST BE CAUGHT.
This message today is NOT about TITHING nor is my intent to PREACH tithing to anyone. I merely state my belief and everybody can “work out your own salvation with fear (respect) and trembling.”

It is my experience to have seen and experienced the TRUTH of Jesus' PROMISE:

MANY, MANY, MANY times I have EXPERIENCED this in both my personal life and Church finance. God will speak to me in that “still, small Voice” to GIVE to someone or some ministry and then God will GIVE back to me or this ministry MUCH more than given!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could site COUNTLESS. COUNTLESS instances where God showed up and showed out!!!! Times when I “thought” I was gonna' lose my house, not afford groceries, been sick with fear of never being well again..............................
Then there is that age and OLD question too often asked of us:

For FORTY YEARS they wandered in the wilderness-NO Amazon Prime, no Walmart, no shopping centers or gardens, wells with water, or clothing stores...................

Yes, they griped and grumbled!!!! It may not have been lobster for dinner-perhaps beenie-weenies????- and maybe not the latest fashion or luxurious accommodations....

I may never be able to move to my desire of a beach front existance. In fact, I may never even get to go to the beach again????
Again, I simply state the TRUTH- THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME OR MY FINAL DESTINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
