Tribal leaders are invited to join U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue and USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services Brandon Lipps on a briefing call Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. ET.

The purpose of the call is to provide tribal leaders with updates about the COVID-19 response efforts from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and how they are working closely with tribes to best serve children and low-income individuals impacted by COVID-19 across the 15 nutrition assistance programs. The Native Farm Bill Coalition encourages tribal leaders to participate and provide feedback to help USDA navigate this pandemic.
