In the spirit of sharing COVID-19 information with our business community, we wanted to extend an invitation to an information session hosted by the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to get updates on the latest Santa Clara County guidelines for Restaurants, Beauty Salons, Gyms and various industries to ensure you are in compliance. During this Zoom session you will hear from Industry experts and County representatives who will present the most current information. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Salon Operators
The City of Milpitas is working on a simple registration process that all salon operators who are re-opening their business outdoors will need to fill out. Please call the Planning Department at (408) 586-3279 if you have already re-opened. There will be an online registration form available in the next few days.
Payroll Protection Loan Program (PPP)
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan program designed to provide incentives for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. The PPP loans will be forgiven if the funds are used for payroll costs. The program was extended and the deadline to apply is August 8. To learn more about this program, please go to the
