On the road again!

To begin, the recent ISCA East Coast Open Water Festival was a blast.

Make a note to yourself for next year. You should attend. There was a 5K swim, 1-mile swim, and some Swim & Run events (Splash a half-mile then dash a half-mile -- and on the other day the Splash & Dash was one-mile each.)

Overheard:

  • A swimmer took five minutes off of her one-mile time from the prior year.
  • After the Splash & Dash, "That was the hardest thing I ever did!"

Ohio Swimposium, Saturday in Upper Arlington High School

I'm heading to Ohio for a homecoming to speak at lunch. I'm bringing some bold ideas to discuss and consider for the future, especially for high school coaches. Plus, expect a haul of valuable digital handouts. Hope to see you there.
