Our summer Parenting Center class schedule is here! In addition to many of your familiar favorites we are excited to offer two new classes: Tiny Dancers and Mini Toddlers Plus. (Although teachers Jason Mesches and Brianah Caplan are not available this summer, they will return for the fall session.) We have two fabulous instructors for music and Shoo Bop Shabbat, so you can continue to enjoy these classes in the summer with your little ones! Our Play Creations class will take a summer hiatus and will return in the fall.

Mondays and Wednesdays

Mini Toddlers Plus

Parent & Me (20 months - 26 months only!)

Mini Toddlers Plus is designed as a refresher class for children who had the opportunity to complete the regular Mini Toddlers class, as well as new families looking for a more structured class in preparation for preschool. The morning schedule will mimic the original Mini Toddlers class, with materials and intentional provocations that are specifically geared towards this age group. With a focus on developing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and social interaction, Mini Toddlers Plus will encourage your child to navigate a classroom setting with confidence and become familiar with school routines. The class incorporates music and sensory play, as well as gross motor play on our climbing equipment. Parent education will also be provided to discuss different developmental topics. During the parent education portion of our class, your child will have the opportunity to be on the toddler patio with our teacher facilitators and become comfortable in a parent-accessible space without you. A parent/caregiver MUST be present for the entire 90-minute class each day. There are very limited spots available!

Mini Toddlers

Parent & Me (14 months - 20 months only!)

Mini Toddlers is an opportunity for your child to gently transition into a play-based classroom setting. Through investigative play, children will navigate both the indoor and “outdoor” patio spaces, and materials are scaffolded to reflect the developmental growth of each child. The class incorporates music and sensory play, as well as gross motor play on our climbing equipment. Parent education will also be provided to discuss different developmental topics. A parent/caregiver MUST be present for the entire 90-minute class each day. There are very limited spots available!

Joey’s Gym - Also offered on Fridays!

Parent & Me (12 months to 2 years)

Through exploration of various gross motor equipment, children develop climbing, balancing, and tumbling skills in a warm, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Equipment is scaffolded each week through the use of mats, tumbling wedges, balancing planks, climbers, ladders, high bar tunnels, and more.

Baby’s First Class

Parent & Me (0-7 months)

As you and your infant get to know one another, the primary goal of this class is to create meaningful connections. In Baby’s First Class, you will learn strategies around sleep, feeding, schedules, work/life balance, self-care, and more. Class will include one phone call per week with parent educator and instructor, Tammy Gold.

Music Together with Teacher Amy

Parent & Me (6 months - 2 years)

Music Together nurtures children’s innate musicality through engaging, research-based classes. Our playful approach allows kids to learn at their own pace in a developmentally appropriate environment. As you sing, move, and laugh with your child, you’re having fun while supporting their musical growth. These classes foster creativity while simultaneously enhancing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. By participating with your child, you’ll create lasting musical memories and lay the foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. Below is class information.

Tiny Dancers

Parent & Me (16 months through 2 years)

Join us as we help your tiny dancers take their first steps into the magical world of movement! Together, we will explore different styles of dance through the use of imaginary play, follow-along games, props, and music. Watch as your little one begins to embrace a variety of cognitive and social skills, improved balance, coordination, spatial awareness, mind-body connection, rhythm, dance vocabulary, and so much more! Caregiver participation is required.

Shoo Bop Shabbat

(Parent & Me; 4 months-2 years)

Establish traditions and build memories as we celebrate Shabbat through music, movement, and storytelling. Children and caregivers share in the beauty of the blessings of the candles, grape juice, and challah. Grandparents and caregivers welcome!

L’dor Vador Grandparent Shabbat Class

Grandparent & Me (6 months - 2 years)

Make connections with other grandparents as you celebrate the joy of Shabbat with your grandchild. We will bake challah, sing the morning prayers, and explore a variety of instruments while singing Shabbat songs.
