Join Voter Choice NJ, New Jersey Appleseed, and Councilman James Solomon at City Hall to kick off the holidays with a ranked-choice vote on the city’s favorite restaurants.

Ranked-choice voting (RCV) is a simple upgrade to the way we vote: it allows voters to rank their choices in order of preference and ensures that the winner has the support of a majority of voters.

RCV is being considered in cities and states across the country as a way to improve our voting process, and this ‘mock election’ of Jersey City restaurants is the perfect way to show people how it works! One restaurant will win bragging rights as “the voters’ choice”, and six lucky attendees will win gift certificates to the participating establishments.

Join us in person or via Zoom at this link. For more info, visit: www.voterchoicenj.org.

Council President Watterman would like to invite you to The Jersey City’s Women’s Advisory Board’s Meet & Greet, held on Thursday, December 8th, from 6:00PM- 8:00PM at Andco, located at 201 Montgomery St, Jersey City, NJ.

The WAB’s Holiday Meet & Greet is a chance for Jersey City residents to meet its members, learn about their passion and accessibility to the women of Jersey City, as well as a chance to network with other dynamic women.

Pre-registration is requested, which you may do so here.

Parking will be available for this event in the lot adjacent to City Hall, on Montgomery St. and Marin Blvd.
