Idaho Supreme Court Justice to retire, citing low judicial pay

“The job requires extraordinary hours to do it well,” Justice John Stegner wrote in a letter to the governor. “In sum, the state is asking judges to do too much for too little.”

This week the Idaho Reports YouTube channel features a look back to a special 1985 report on the fascinating construction and renovation of Teater’s Knoll, the artist’s studio designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright for landscape painter Archie Teater and his wife Patricia. The structure is the only building in Idaho designed by Wright.
