Hello BTHS Parents!

Sign ups for the Spring Parent-Teacher conferences begin tonight at 6 p.m.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on Wednesday evening, April 19, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Thursday afternoon, April 20, 12:30 pm--2:50 pm.

The deadline for signing up is Thurday, April 13 at 11:59 p.m. No exceptions.

Students will be dismissed early on Thursday.

Conferences will be five-minutes long and held via Zoom or phone. There are two minutes between each meeting for the faculty members to prepare.

You must add your phone number in comments. Or next to your last name, in the same space.

If you need an interpreter, please post which language in comments along with your phone number.

Please do not sign up for any meetings with advisory or lab teachers, unless your student is failing. You will be removed.

To give everyone a chance to schedule a conference, we are limiting conferences to 5 per student.

Times will be set up using PTC Wizard, which will also have zoom links posted before the start. A schedule with zoom links will be mailed to you.

New parents can create an account here and returning parents can sign in here as well.

*After you register, give it a few minutes, then click on ADD MEETING.

*On the next screen, check the box for Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences.

*A list of teachers and staff will appear. Choose the day (Wednesay or Thursday.) in the pull-down menu (to the left of the word CONTINUE on upper right).

*Check on the boxes next to the teacher's, assistant principal's, guidance counselor's or social worker's names whom you want to talk to. Please make sure you have the teacher's first and last name correct.

*After you are done with your choices, hit CONTINUE, and you will select the time slot for each conference.

*Click CONTINUE and you will get a message that your meetings have been saved.

*Close that box and you will see schedule of all your meetings. Below each person's name is a box for COMMENTS. You MUST put your phone number (best one on which the teacher can reach you), as many teachers will call you, and your language if other that English. Please save your comments.

Please try to sign up before spring break. I will also be on spring break but will work on Thursday, April 13th to help with any issues. You can go on Jupiter or the NYC schools account to see your child's schedule. Better yet: Ask them.
