Dear IHMS Families,
As of this moment, our school still does not have power with no estimated time for restoration. We are really disappointed to make the difficult decision to reschedule Party in the Middle again. Tonight’s IHMS Party in the Middle is rescheduled for Thursday, November 7 from 5-7pm. (There is no school for students on Friday, November 8.)
I cannot express enough gratitude for our supportive parents who have been hard at work to make this event happen yet having to pivot for things beyond our control. It takes a lot of volunteer hours to make an event happen, and rescheduling is hard on all of us. I know we’re all disappointed to have to reschedule this fun event, but we are committed to making this party happen!
Today’s high school athletic events are still ON. Our athletic department has also been working tirelessly to make sure there are appropriate accommodations so that the outdoor events can still happen. In addition, our athletic department has been working hard to adjust and pivot with us to ensure we can still have our event.
We know many of our IHMS families still do not have power. Stay safe and check in on one another!
Thank you again - to everyone - for the support and flexibility!
Go Braves!
Lauren
